Terms and conditions

Purchase: A purchase agreement is only concluded when we confirm the order through an email order confirmation. The order confirmation is generated automatically by our database without manual review. In case of any errors, such as in pricing, delivery time, out-of-stock items, etc., we reserve the right to correct this afterwards.

We do not enter into agreements with minors (under 18 years old) without parental consent.

Price: The stated prices include 25% VAT. Shipping costs based on weight will be added.

Shipping: We use Postnord for our domestic deliveries in Sweden. For deliveries to other countries within the EU we use DHL. Your order will be delivered to a DHL Pickup Point.

Shipping rates: 0 – 3 kg: 149 SEK; 3 kg – 5 kg: 199 SEK;  5kg – 10 kg: 249 SEK 

Right of withdrawal: According to the Distance and Doorstep Sales Act, you as a customer have full return and exchange rights within 14 days of receiving the product. This is provided that the product is in substantially unchanged condition, i.e. unused and not damaged or destroyed. A refund will be issued within 30 days after we have received notice of cancellation of the purchase. For returns/exchanges, the buyer pays for shipping. Complaints: According to the Swedish Consumer Sales Act, you as a customer have the right to file a complaint for three years after receiving the product. In the event of a complaint, LeatherCare.store covers the shipping costs. We will refund the customer no later than 30 days from the day we receive notice that the customer has returned the claimed product.

For complaints, the following applies:

– Contact us at info@leathercare.store  – An attempt will first be made to fix the product defect. – If this is not possible, the customer will be replaced with a similar product. – If no similar product is available, the customer will be refunded the value of the defective product.

In the event of a dispute, we follow the recommendations of the National Board for Consumer Disputes.

Payment: We cooperate with Klarna and, in addition to invoice payments via Klarna, we also accept Visa, MasterCard, and direct bank payments (Handelsbanken, SEB, Nordea) through Klarna Checkout. On your receipt, it will state that the payment has been made to Resolvator, which is the receiving party for purchases in the webshop.

In addition to the above payment methods, you can also pay with Swish. This payment service is not processed through Klarna Checkout.

We follow the Distance Selling Act. No extra card fees will be added, and no larger amount than what you have approved for the product will ever be charged.

Returns: If you regret your purchase, you can return the product within 14 days from the day you received it. The product must be in the same condition as when it was received. Therefore, it is important that you ensure the item is properly packed.

Include a copy of the receipt or packing slip with the returned product. Once the returned item has been received and approved, the amount will be refunded to your account immediately.

Uncollected packages: Packages sent to the shipping company’s agents (Postnord, DHL) and not collected in time will be returned to us. If the customer chooses to have the order resent, an additional shipping fee will be charged. If the customer chooses to cancel the order, the shipping fee will not be refunded, and a handling fee of 100 SEK will be charged.

Warranty: All products are covered by the Swedish Consumer Sales Act’s regulations for a three-year warranty. This means that you, as a customer, can report defects that occur within three years of purchase (not wear and tear). Any defects must be reported within a reasonable time. If you, against all odds, receive a defective product or something is missing, contact us immediately and we will assist you.

Handling of personal data when shopping in our webshop: When you shop on www.leathercare.store, you can choose to shop as a logged-in returning customer or without logging in as a guest. By completing a purchase, you agree to our General Terms and Conditions.

Placing an order without logging in to an account: When placing your order, we need to know who you are, so we require your name and email address, to which all information regarding the order will be sent, as well as your address so we can deliver your order.

Placing an order as a logged-in customer on your account at Läderspecialisten: If you are logged in to your account, your contact details will be retrieved from our customer database. The purchase will be registered on your account with us, which means that you will be able to view it in your purchase history when you are logged in. If you have an account with us, you can log in at the top of the homepage or directly at checkout.

Payment: When paying by invoice, we need your personal identification number, as our invoice partner Klarna will conduct a credit check. The packing slip is printed in our warehouse when your order is packed, but all further handling of your invoice is carried out by Klarna. If you pay by card, the payment is also processed via Klarna. When placing your order, the payment will be debited from your account, at which point Klarna will communicate with your bank regarding the transaction.

Delivery: To send your order, we need your name, address, email, and mobile phone number for notification of your delivery via Text. This information is forwarded from us to the shipping companies we cooperate with, currently PostNord and DHL. Notifications regarding your delivery will come from one of their shipping agents.

Analytics tools and cookies: We use analytics tools like Google Analytics to improve and develop our webshop. This development work is partly based on the statistics we gather from Google Analytics about how users behave on Läderspecialisten.se.

To determine who visits our webshop, we use cookies to create demographic and user-related statistics. This allows us to customize and create content that meets our customers’ interests. If you do not want to receive cookies, you can either block all cookies, delete existing cookies from your computer, and/or set your computer to warn you before cookies are saved.

How long are personal data stored? The personal data we collect related to your order and delivery are stored for 36 months from the time of delivery. This is the period during which you have the right to make a complaint or file a claim under Swedish law. After this period, only information regarding the transaction will be stored for a total of 7 years, in accordance with the Swedish Accounting Act.

Contact regarding personal data: If you wish to access the information we have about you, or if you have any objections to the data we have, you are welcome to contact us at info@laderspecialisten.se. Under the Data Protection Act, you have the right to access the data we store about you and object to the registration of this data under the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Upon request, we will update or delete the personal data in our database, with the exception of actions that would result in a violation of the law.
