Furniture Clinic Leather Protection Cream - 250 ml
Furniture Clinic Leather Protection Cream is a water-based cream designed to soften, nourish, and create a protective layer on both old and new leather and skins. The cream helps leather resist soiling and wear, while also acting as a leather conditioner that hydrates and rejuvenates old, dry, and worn leather. An added bonus is the delightful leather scent it provides.
As a leather product is used, oils, sweat, dirt, and various chemicals from human skin gradually break down the leather, causing discoloration, drying, and eventually cracking. These damages are often visible on leather items where human contact occurs, such as on armrests and headrests of chairs, collars of leather jackets, steering wheels, and so on, where initial signs of damage appear as dark spots.
Leather Protection Cream forms a protective layer on the leather, helping to resist staining from water- and oil-based liquids, significantly reducing the risk of damage as described above on treated leather and skins.
The protective barrier also prevents "regular" dirt from penetrating the leather, keeping the dirt on the surface without seeping into the fibers, making it much easier to clean and maintain. Additionally, marks from ballpoint pens and color transfers from, for example, wet jeans and other clothing are prevented from penetrating through the protection cream into the leather. The surface becomes easy to keep clean with products like Leather Ultra Clean cleaner.
The protection cream also significantly reduces daily wear and tear on the leather. Typically, when using a leather product, friction against its surface gradually wears down the leather's top layer. The protection cream acts as a barrier that delays this wear and extends the leather's lifespan.
The cream works very well on all types of leather and skins, except suede and nubuck, across various applications, such as on furniture, car interiors, equestrian gear, handbags, leather jackets, motorcycle gear, and more.
