The bag is made from high-quality "Antique Buff Crumbled Leather." This type of leather is made from buffalo hide, which is typically a thicker leather type. Antique Buff means that the color is achieved by first dyeing a lighter base color and then hand-spraying a thin layer of darker shade, creating the so-called “two-tone” effect, which is the same method used when dyeing Chesterfield furniture.
