Guide för att färga om mocka

Here we go over how to proceed when re-dying products made of suede.

This is needed:

Step 1 – Cleaning and Preparation: – Use a scotchbrite or suede brush to thoroughly scrub the entire surface of the suede. Then clean thoroughly with Suede & Nubuck Cleaner . – Brush again gently with the suede brush or scotchbrite so that the suede stands up. Wipe with a cloth so that no dust remains.

Step 2 – Coloring: – Dilute the leather dye with water. 1 part dye is diluted in a ratio of 1.5. (e.g. 50 ml dye is diluted with 75 ml water). Mix thoroughly. – Take a small amount of dye on a sponge and rub into the leather with circular movements, so that the suede fibers are covered from all sides. Let dry. – Use a suede brush or scotchbrite to brush up the suede fibers again. If necessary, apply another layer of dye in the same way as above. Let dry. – When dyeing, the suede fibers can be flattened by the dye. It is therefore important to brush up the fibers again with a suede brush or scotchbrite when you are completely finished dyeing. – Spray afterwards with suede impregnation for increased protection and durability.

Here are the products we have that are specially designed for suede.
