Leather color | Furniture Clinic Shadow Finish | 500 ml

Furniture Clinic's Shadow Finish is a transparent colored surface finish for leather that can be used to restore the top layer of color on worn or faded leather with a two-tone color, which is common as a top coat for antique-style leather, such as on Chesterfield furniture.

Shadow Finish can be applied in thin layers with a paint sprayer or airbrush to gently build up the color, allowing it to blend into the original darker top coat without the need to apply a separate Finish.

Shadow Finish can also be mixed with Leather Colourant to adjust the transparency and hue of the colour to match the opacity of the current topcoat.

Shadow Finish can also be mixed with Furniture Clinics Leather Finish to brighten the color if needed. The product is glossy as standard and is self-sealing, so no additional surface treatment layer is required – unless you want to make it matt, for example with a Satin finish.

To increase the durability of Shadow Finish, you can add hardener Cross Linker or Safe Link.
