Our mini kit for dyeing Leather, Vinyl and Artificial Leather for VW consists of products from Viper Products , and contains what you need to make a durable and beautiful coloring of small surfaces made of leather, vinyl, artificial leather, plastic , and other similar materials. The kit is suitable for coloring repairs and touching up small surfaces on VW car interiors that are made of leather, artificial leather and vinyl.
The mini kit is estimated to be enough for about 1/2 square meter.
The paint is based on a compound of polycarbonate and acrylic, PolyCryl, and is very durable and resistant, while being very flexible and providing a soft and durable surface finish with a natural feel. The advantage of Viper Polycryl is that it has enormous adhesion to vinyl, artificial leather and hard plastic, as well as incredible wear resistance.
Viper PolyCryl gives a natural look to restored products made of leather, vinyl, artificial leather and plastic . The finish is permanent and will not stain clothing or other materials that may come into contact with the surface. The color will also not fade if it comes into contact with water, which is common on door panels when the side window is rolled down in rainy weather, or if you drive with the sun down on a Swedish summer day. The surface remains porous after staining and allows oils and creams to pass through when treated.
To further strengthen the surface finish, 10% of SafeLink hardener can be added. This is especially for repainting surfaces that are subject to extreme use.
NOTE! Vinyl, artificial leather and plastic are “oily” materials. In order for the vinyl paint to adhere properly to this surface, it is very important to follow the instructions and clean and prepare properly before painting, otherwise there is a high risk of the paint peeling/flaking.

Here's how to do it:
- Clean the surface to be painted 2 times with PolyClean
- Clean the surface 2 times with Prep
- Massage in the first layer of PolyCryl Leather & Vinyl Paint, this way you can get into creases and nooks.
- Apply additional coats of paint until the paint is covered and you are satisfied. Dab the paint on in thin layers with a sponge. Dry with a hairdryer between each coat.
- Apply 2 coats of TopCoat surface finish. Dry with a hairdryer between each coat. The TopCoat contains a hardener that is activated by heat.
- When the paint has dried properly and has hardened (takes about 3 days), a couple of layers of protection are applied.
