Leather prep | Angelus Preparer & Deglazer

Angelus Preparer and Deglazer leather prep is used to properly pre-treat and prepare the leather before dyeing with leather dye – otherwise the dye will not adhere properly. Leather prep removes grease and dirt, which means the surface is clean of dirt, oil, wax and old treatments, and the dye can adhere properly. Leather often also has a factory-applied surface treatment, and Angelus Preparer and Deglazer removes this old layer of finish so that the dye gets the best possible adhesion.

How to use Angelus Preparer and Deglazer

Preparing smooth leather is neither difficult nor time-consuming. Follow these steps for easy and effective application, and the perfect base for applying new Angelus leather color :

1. Remove the cap from the bottle and apply a small amount of Angelus Preparer & Deglazer to a microfiber cloth, sponge or cotton pad (make sure it is clean and lint-free).

2. Spread the product over the leather to be dyed, including corners, crevices and seams. Apply additional coats as needed to ensure all surfaces are cleaned.

3. Once the entire surface has been treated, let it dry. Then you can start painting or dyeing the leather.
