Leather Color Primer - Furniture Clinic Adhesion Promoter - 100 ml

Furniture Clinic Adhesion Promoter is a primer that enhances the adhesion of Furniture Clinic Leather Colourant. The primer should be used especially where the surface experiences significant wear, such as on the seat cushions of a chair or in a car seat, and when applying the leather dyes to vinyl, synthetic leather, and plastic. It is common to find synthetic leather or vinyl on the backs of furniture and car seats. Synthetic leather, made from plastic, does not bond as well with our leather dyes. To improve adhesion, apply Adhesion Promoter before dyeing with leather colorant.

Here’s how to use it:

1. Clean the surface thoroughly with Prep and/or Alcohol Cleaner.
2. Apply a layer of primer/adhesion promoter and dry with a hairdryer.
3. Apply another layer of primer/adhesion promoter and dry with a hairdryer.
4. The surface is now ready to be dyed with leather colorant.
