Angelus Bone Acrylic Leather Paint is an off-white leather dye specially formulated for smooth leather materials on various products, such as clothes, shoes, saddles, and furniture. Bone is an excellent color for leather if you want a light shade that is not stark white. Bone is very suitable for lighter furniture, for example. Another advantage of this light color is that Bone is a classic leather color that blends well into most environments.
Application of Angelus leather paint
Applying Angelus leather paint is easier than you think. It's about properly preparing the leather, for example by using Angelus Preparer and Deglazer. If you work step by step, you will quickly achieve beautiful results.
-
Ensure the leather is thoroughly pre-treated, for example with Angelus Preparer and Deglazer.
-
Apply the first layer of leather paint in a thin, even coat with a sponge or brush. Don't forget seams and cracks.
-
Once the first layer has dried, apply the next thin layer. Each layer takes an average of 10–15 minutes to dry before you can apply the next. Repeat until you have achieved the desired result – usually three to four layers are required.
-
Allow the final layer to dry for at least 24 hours before using the painted product.
Advantages of Angelus leather paint
Using Angelus leather paint is an excellent choice for your leather products. The painted surface becomes easy to clean, and since the paint is water-based, it is also splash-proof. This provides good protection for the leather even in worse weather conditions.
You can order the paint in two different sizes:
-
29.5 ml jar – sufficient for a pair of leather shoes.
-
118 ml bottle – sufficient for, for example, a car seat or a leather-covered dining chair.
-
For a larger two-seater sofa, approximately 6 bottles of 118 ml are required.
The amount of Preparer and Deglazer and finisher needed is usually about half the amount of paint.
