Angelus Brown Acrylic Leather Paint is a brown leather dye specially developed for smooth leather materials on various products, such as clothes, shoes, saddles, and furniture. Brown is an excellent color for leather as it highlights the material's character. Brown also works very well on, for example, saddles and bridles. Another advantage of this neutral color is that brown is a natural leather color that almost always works in most environments.
Applying Angelus Leather Paint
Applying Angelus leather paint is easier than you think. It's about preparing the leather correctly, for example, by using Angelus Preparer and Deglazer. If you work step by step, you will quickly achieve a beautiful result.
-
Make sure the leather is thoroughly pre-treated, for example, with Angelus Preparer and Deglazer.
-
Apply the first layer of leather paint in a thin, even coat with a sponge or brush. Don't forget seams and cracks.
-
Once the first layer has dried, apply the next thin layer. Each layer takes on average 10–15 minutes to dry before you can apply the next. Repeat until you achieve the desired result – usually three to four layers are required.
-
Allow the final coat to dry for at least 24 hours before using the painted product.
Advantages of Angelus brown leather paint
Using Angelus brown leather paint is an excellent choice for your leather products. The painted surface becomes easy to clean, and since the paint is water-based, it is also splash-proof. This provides good protection for the leather even in worse weather conditions.
You can order the paint in two different sizes:
-
29.5 ml jar – sufficient for a pair of leather shoes.
-
118 ml bottle – sufficient for, for example, a car seat or a leather-covered dining chair.
-
For a larger two-seater sofa, approximately 6 bottles of 118 ml are required.
The amount of Preparer and Deglazer and finisher needed is usually about half the amount of paint.
