A reinforcement fabric is used in repairing a hole in a leather product. The reinforcement fabric consists of a thin and very strong and flexible textile fabric similar to gauze. This is placed under the hole using tweezers or a palette knife, and is glued to the underside of the leather with Leather Glue to prevent the hole from reopening under pressure.
