Viper's steering wheel dyeing kit contains everything you need for a stylish and durable finish.
A steering wheel is the most used interior component in a car, which is why the products used for dyeing must meet high standards to ensure long-lasting results. Viper’s dyes, together with Prep, TopCoat, and the SafeLink hardener, meet all these requirements.
The standard color in the kit is black. If you want a different color for your steering wheel, please specify the desired color in the message box at checkout.
The dyeing kit includes:
- 30 ml Viper PolyClean Leather Cleaner
- 30 ml Viper Leather Prep
- 30 ml Viper Polymax Leather Dye
- 30 ml Viper TopCoat with added SafeLink hardener
- 30 ml Viper Ultra Cream Protective Cream
- Sanding cloth
- Sponges
- Cloth
- Instructions
How to use:
- Start by thoroughly cleaning the steering wheel with the Viper PolyClean leather cleaner.
- Sand the steering wheel with the included sanding cloth.
- Wipe the steering wheel twice with Viper Leather Prep.
- Apply Viper leather dye evenly with a sponge. Dry with a hairdryer. Dab on another layer of dye and dry with a hairdryer.
- Mix the SafeLink hardener into Viper TopCoat. Note that the mixture hardens with heat, so there is no risk of it solidifying in the bottle. Apply a layer with a sponge. Dry thoroughly with a hairdryer. Sand the steering wheel to remove any "fuzz," dust particles, etc., to achieve a smooth and soft surface. Apply another layer of finish. Dry with a hairdryer and allow the dye to fully cure for a couple of days.
- Apply Viper Ultra Cream Protective Cream for additional protection against stains and friction wear.
