Leather & Vinyl Colour | Medium Kit for Colouring Leather, Vinyl, and Faux Leather | Viper Products

Our medium-sized kit for colouring leather, vinyl, and faux leather consists of products from Viper Products and includes everything you need to achieve durable and attractive colouring of surfaces made from leather, vinyl, faux leather, plastic, and other similar materials. The kit is suitable for touching up and recolouring boat interiors, furniture, car interiors, bags, and more, made from leather, faux leather, and vinyl. The medium-sized kit is estimated to cover approximately 4-5 square meters.

The colour is based on a polycarbonate and acrylic compound, PolyCryl, which is highly durable and resilient while being very flexible and providing a soft and long-lasting finish with a natural feel. The advantage of Viper PolyCryl is its exceptional adhesion to vinyl, faux leather, bycast leather, and hard plastics, as well as its incredible wear resistance.

Viper PolyCryl gives a natural look to restored products made from leather, vinyl, faux leather, and plastic. The finish is permanent and does not transfer to clothing or other materials that come into contact with the surface. The colour also does not come off if it comes into contact with water, which is common in boat interiors, for example. The surface remains porous after colouring and allows oils and creams to penetrate during treatment.

To further strengthen the finish, approximately 10% of the SafeLink hardener is added. This is especially recommended for recolouring surfaces that are subjected to extreme use.

Note: Vinyl, faux leather, bycast leather, PU leather, and plastic are "oily" materials. For the vinyl colour to adhere properly to these surfaces, it is crucial to follow the instructions and thoroughly clean and prepare the surface before colouring, otherwise, there is a high risk that the colour will peel or flake off.

The kit includes:

• 200 ml Viper PolyClean Cleaner
• 200 ml Viper Silicone Remover
• 200 ml Viper T1 VinylPrep or Leather Prep
• 200 ml Viper PolyCryl Leather & Vinyl Colour
• 100 ml Viper Top Coat Finish
• 15 ml Viper SafeLink Hardener
• Sandpaper
• Sponges
• Cloths
• Instructions

Instructions:

1. Clean the surface to be coloured twice with PolyClean.
2. Clean the surface twice with Silicone Remover.
3. Clean the surface twice with T-1 VinylPrep or Leather Prep.
4. Apply the first layer of PolyCryl Leather & Vinyl Colour using a sponge to reach into creases and corners.
5. Apply additional layers of colour until it covers completely and you are satisfied. The colour is elastic and will not crack regardless of how many layers are applied. Apply the colour in thin layers with a sponge. Dry with a hairdryer between each layer.
6. Apply 2 layers of Top Coat Finish. Dry with a hairdryer between each layer. Add SafeLink hardener to the finish for extra durability. The hardener is activated by heat.
